I don’t know if I have a favorite flower, but I’ve recently realized how drawn I am to hydrangeas. They are so beautiful. I think the thing I love about them, is that they have that sort of gradient effect, where the shades of the color slightly change from one bundle(?) to the next. The blues/purples are my favorite, but I think it’s so fun that they come in all sorts of colors. And you can keep them around for quite a while. Even when they start to dry out, they still look so pretty. There’s just one issue: I seem to have a serious problem pronouncing the word hydrangea. I feel like Teresa Giudice, I completely butcher the correct pronunciation into something simply stupid unless I take a moment to really, really try hard. Even then, I’m still tongue-tied. So embarrassing for someone who considers themselves a wordsmith.
